An organization built to use every drug for every disease it can treat

Every Cure is a nonprofit working to unlock the hidden potential of medicines that already exist. We search across all known drugs and all known diseases, evaluate the most promising matches with scientific and clinical experts, and advance the strongest opportunities toward patients.

  • 300M+

people globally live with a disease that has no FDA-approved treatment

  • ~18K

recognized diseases — only about 4,000 have an approved treatment

  • 14

additional repurposed drugs advanced by our co-founder before Every Cure.

Our journey

From one discovery to a platform for millions

  1. 2010

    Dr. Fajgenbaum diagnosed with iMCD

Given months to live, he identified sirolimus through manual research. It worked — and is now used by iMCD patients worldwide. The seed of everything that followed.

  2. 2010 — 2022

    The approach takes shape

Dr. Fajgenbaum developed and refined the repurposing methodology — collaborating with researchers, publishing the science, and demonstrating that a systematic evidence-based approach could work across disease areas. This body of work laid the scientific foundation for Every Cure.

  3. 2022

    Every Cure founded

Incorporating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Every Cure launched with a clear mission: use AI to do at scale what had been proven possible — for every patient with every disease.

  4. 2023

    TED Audacious Project & ARPA-H

A $60M commitment from the TED Audacious Project and a landmark partnership with ARPA-H. Featured in the New York Times, The New Yorker, and CBS News.

  5. 2024

    AI platform launched at scale

Every Cure’s full AI-to-clinic pipeline goes live — evaluating millions of drug-disease combinations and advancing the strongest candidates through evidence generation.

  6. Today

12 active programmes · growing pipeline

Every Cure operates a full AI-to-clinic pipeline with a global network of volunteer clinicians, research partners, and institutional collaborators.

"If I — one person, working alone — could find a life-saving treatment for my own rare disease, imagine what a team of scientists with AI could do for every patient with every disease."

Dr. David Fajgenbaum

Co-founder & President

All vs All

Turning Possibilities Into Treatments

Our AI scans every drug against every disease. The strongest matches undergo rigorous testing and only move forward when both the science and patient access are confirmed.

  1. Discover

We use AI, biomedical knowledge, existing drug data, and disease information to surface promising drug–disease opportunities at a scale no single research team could review.

  2. Evaluate

Scientists, physicians, researchers, and real-world evidence are used to rigorously assess the most promising opportunities before anything moves forward.

  3. Advance

The strongest opportunities move toward validation, clinical studies, partnerships, and ultimately patient access.

From Insights to Impact

How we’re using AI to help us save lives

Every Cure has pioneered a novel approach called computational pharmacophenomics™ and built an AIpowered drug repurposing platform to systematically unlock new uses for medicines. This platform sifts through the world’s biomedical knowledge and evaluates the potential of all drugs and all diseases, and is steered by guidance from our Technical Advisory Council (TAC).
